Pension fund buy-in
A voluntary payment into your pension fund to close a gap, deductible from taxable income.
Your pension certificate shows how much you can buy in. Money bought in cannot be withdrawn as a lump sum for three years. The tax saving often makes a buy-in attractive in the years before retirement.
